For Yale Departments

The Leitner Family Observatory and Planetarium (LFOP) is available to rent by Yale University Departments only. Yale events must fit around our ongoing educational and outreach activities. LFOP is not open during the summer months as it is used for the Yale Summer Program in Astrophysics (YSPA), and availability is limited during the fall semester due to classes and labs held in the space. Rates are available upon request. 

To obtain details about renting the observatory and planetarium for a Yale department event, please review the General Info page, or complete our reservation request. We ask that departments submit requests at least two weeks before an event.
