Join us for public night every Tuesday evening at the Leitner Family Observatory & Planetarium! Planetarium shows consist of a 5-10 minute live presentation by an astronomer showing us what’s up in the night sky, followed by a spectacular full-dome planetarium show, suitable for most ages*. No ticket or reservation needed—just bring your curiosity!
*children younger than first grade age might struggle with attention and the dark environment.
Outdoor telescope observing will take place after sunset on Tuesday evenings (weather permitting). Be sure to check the announcement banner at the top of the website for the most up-to-date information or cancellations, as well as our calendar for planning purposes.
Note: the planetarium theater is closed in the summer (mid-June through mid-August) for a summer program, but telescope observing will still take place on Tuesdays.
